أَلَمْ يَأْنِ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَن تَخْشَعَ قُلُوبُهُمْ لِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَمَا نَزَلَ مِنَ الْحَقِّ وَلَا يَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ مِن قَبْلُ فَطَالَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْأَمَدُ فَقَسَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ ۖ وَكَثِيرٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَاسِقُونَ
Is the time not come that the hearts of the believers should be humbled to Allah’s remembrance and to the Truth that He has revealed and that they should not be like those who have vouchsafed the Book and then a long time elapsed so that their hearts were hardened? A great many of them are now evil-doers.
﴾ Surah Al Hadid:16 ﴿
Isn’t it a clear sign from Allah Azza Wa Jall to submit ourselves, our desires, our preferences, our choices when a command has reached us from Him?
They are few daughters of this ummah, very few who are firm on one command of Allah.
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ قُل لِّأَزْوَاجِكَ وَبَنَاتِكَ وَنِسَاءِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يُدْنِينَ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِن جَلَابِيبِهِنَّ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ أَدْنَىٰ أَن يُعْرَفْنَ فَلَا يُؤْذَيْنَ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا
O Prophet, enjoin your wives and your daughters and the believing women, to draw a part of their outer coverings around them. It is likelier that they will be recognized and not molested. Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.
﴾ Surah Al Ahzab:59 ﴿
They are portraying an exemplary role model to the whole world that Islam has come to change us to our better versions, but it can not be changed according to any system or structure.
Do you think, these teenager girls don’t have outside distractions?
Do they not want to follow fashion industry?
Do they not want to flaunt their beauty?
Do they want to miss their classes?
Do they want to be seen by fascist forces?
Do they not fear for their lives or safety?
They are as humans as we are! they have fears and uncertainties as we have !
Only one difference between us and them is that we compromise everything of our deen with anything beneficial for us
We barter our values and morals for worldly advantages
We compromise on Islamic ethics for everything attractive in this dunya
We have abandoned the hijab long before on the name of career, fashion, society pressure or on the name of freedom …
So isn’t it a time to ask ourselves if removing hijab is so easy then why its so difficult for these muslimahs to say NO to system and endanger their lives, modesty, self-respect, family and education?
May Allah Azza Wa Jall grant us a vision to reflect how important it is to follow and adapt every bit of commandment given by our creator and how important it is to be firm on the face of opposition when any of the rule clashes with divine order
لا طاعة لمخلوق في معصية الخالق
There will be no obedience to creation while disobeying the creator!
Before anyone else… This incident is an eye opener to those Muslimahs who are taking hijab very lightly !
May Allah guide all of us and make us amongst those who are most obedient to Him. Aameen
